It can stand up on its own--so I can put knitting patterns on it. Or read while I do other things. It folds up very small. This one isn't perfect, but it does work. Now I can go out and find material that I really like to make one. (This is left over material from other things.)

Protecting My Christmas Present
This year for Christmas, The Collar gave me a Kindle. I hadn't gotten a cover yet, so I started looking for one. I found the directions to make one.

Maisie's bored. Too much knitting and other things going on around here.

Do you like the Kindle? I have not had the chance to try one out and have wondered what it is like to read off of one. Lucky you!
I do like the Kindle. It's really easy to get books, and I can read from it pretty well. When I'm tired, I can increase type face easily so I can keep reading.
It is really thin, though, and having a cover on the Kindle makes it feel more book-like. The Collar has a leather cover which he likes. I like this one, because I can also attach my book light to the cover and read in bed.
VERY COOL! I am going to have to share a link to this post because I know a lot of moms who have Kindles! I have iBooks... but I do have the Kindle App. Some books aren't in iBooks..... anyway... VERY cool! You do fabulous work! I wish you weren't so far across the country now..... so we could meet when we go up to Cincy....
We really like it out here...and Wiz's neurosurgeon and neurologist are out here.
We have no idea where we'll live. We're hoping to stay here at least through Game Boy graduating from high school and maybe even Wiz.
