More Finished Objects

I have now knitted 27 hat ornaments.  I have gotten a little bored with plain, so I came up with this type:

little stranded hats, with an XO pattern.  These two are the best ones.

I also finished Wiz's piano teacher's fingerless mitts.  These are Monkey Fingerless Mitts, by Michelle Johnson.  It's Dream in Color Rustic sock yarn, in Maple.  These were fun to knit and I might knit a pair for me, too.  (I don't think one can have too many pairs of fingerless mitts.)
Soon I have to pick up Wiz from his piano lesson, and I'll give these to her.  I hope that she likes them!

You're right! You can never have too many pairs of fingerless mitts!

I don't suppose you plan to be in Spokane over Thanksgiving weekend? I will be down visiting my parents. It would be nice to meet up, have a cup of tea, and check out A Grand Yarn together.

We weren't planning on going to Spokane, but we often have an outing on the day after Thanksgiving. Maybe we could go to Spokane this year.

It would be a lot of fun to get together. :)

It's nice to know there is another Sound of Music fan out there! And thanks for the compliment on my hat and mitts. I did the mitts a while ago, but the hat was just finished last week. I loved knitting it with the Berroco Ultra Alpaca. It is so nice and soft. The pattern is really addictive too.

I wonder if it is as bad in Walla Walla as it is here in Spokane. The snow is already quite deep and it is almost a white out right now. I am worried about driving back to BC on Monday. If you think about me prayers would be appreciated. Stay warm and keep knitting. It is the perfect weather for it!

We have about 9" now. The roads were getting better, but it has snowed all day.

I have to go up to Spokane next Thursday (Wiz is seeing his neurologist), and I'm hoping things are better by then.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Maybe we'll be able to get together in the summer.
