The Most Important Room

At our house, that's the dining room. We eat dinner there and often do homework there. That is where we talk and play board games. The Wiz loves to eat, so it's one of his favorite rooms. Game Boy is learning to cook this year, so it's one of his important rooms. The walls are painted one of the Collar's favorite colors. I just like the room.

For your viewing pleasure our dining room, complete with color commentary.

There are more pictures, but I can only post 5. Later, when I am done taking pictures of the whole house and labeling them with my sagacious commentary, I'll probably make a whole slide show, for anyone who's bored enough to look at someone else's new house.

I would be bored enough. That and I think we might have similar decorating tastes. Yeah, whodathunk it? Is that a pumpkiny color? My living/dining room is painted almost the same shade.

And bacon salt!! I've been wanting to get some of that for months!

Beautiful! It looks like home, is it starting to feel more and more like home?

Thanks for your compliments. I love this room, and once the dining room was set up it felt a lot more like home. There are a few more things to make it home, but it's getting close.

Maggie, next time we are going up to see your house. It would be fun to see it. I haven't gotten to see any of the other kids' houses because our trips are always hurried. Of course, you could do a slide show some time too!

You know what? I'm bored and putting off renewing my license. I'm going to go do that right now.

Aunt Dorf--nah, just random strangers! I'm glad you like the floors.

Pattie--maybe someday you can come over and we can have tea in the dining room. We're having a dinner party a week from tomorrow, so I can't wait to see how it will be when we have company.
